Recently quite a number of items I was interested in are now being displayed with the message "Click & Collect Only" which on other companies sites means you order the goods on-line then go and collect them from the Store.
Not possible when you live abroad, so I asked Hattons about this and they say it doesn't mean that, but that the items are NOT available to collect in their store, and can only be ordered and posted on.
Anyone else been confused by this misleading "notification", or is it just me?

Their explanation makes no sense ... :dunce:

Weird -- I've not noticed any such messages yet. :hmmm:
Been using Hattons for 10 years without problems....oh one time a box of flexi track took 6 weeks to arrive but I did foolishly order it 2 weeks before Xmas.

That's actually happened to me in the past (UK order). Nothing happened with my order for a few days then I noticed the "collect only" statement. When I phoned them they didn't have an answer but it was then put for postage out to me. I've also had it where there's no postage option when trying to order, think I just abandoned the order that time. That was a while back though and the website seems to be slicker since.
I did query this with Hattons when placing a telephone order and they explained Click & Collect was ONLY for collect in their store. No help if you want to sneak something in and don't live in the area.
