Has anyone any thoughts on Peco and Graham Farish wooden sleeper track?
Which is best?
Do they look OK together?
Is Peco 55 (finescale) better than 80 (standard) track and are there any issues about combining either with GF track?
Are Peco 55 point 'flimsy'?

Apart from an oval of Farish track obtained in a train pack (and I believe it is code 80) I would go with Peco code 55 flexitrack as it does look vastly better and is stronger even than Peco code 80 when forming into curves as the code 80 seems to pull from the chairs more easily. I don't like mixing the 2 codes due to the code 55 being sunk into the plastic and requiring packing underneath to bring it to the same height as code 80.
I wouldn't say Peco points are flimsy but they can be a little 'lumpy' and require quite a bit of cleaning between the point blades/stock rails unless you use point motors with built in polarity switching.
