(This is Hermes UK, not My Hermes)
I interpret "Incorrect carrier facility" as one or more of the following
"We can't find an English speaking driver or one who can understand how to use a Satnag (assuming they have one!), I would also suspect they may have a problem using an entry phone"
The correct postcode appears on the Hermes tracking page, so the latest entry re incorrect postcode is a load of spherical genital objects
I have contacted Amazon twice and they have had a couple of lengthy calls to Hermes coming back with assurances that it has been sorted out.
Correction - your Hermes courier failed. My local Hermes courier couldn't be better. Yodel on the other hand - I don't have 'don't use Yodel' on my Hattons account for no reason...
Hi both named orgsnisations and UPS have frequently failed to deliver and have depots not easily accessed, UPS is learning with local shops now as local hub and Hermes as some - my local place has its labels on an abandoned building which is a little worrying!
As ever it is often down to the last link in the chain that we as "the customer" get to meet and the organisation is ranked on that experience and we all moan- me included on poor experiences but less vocal on the good.
It might be better to adivse the supplier of delivery issues to help them make better informed choices. For me depite sell offs and the like the "Royal mail" offer easy system access and pick if non delivery possible but this is city living. Out of city I fully see that rural closures and distant sorting offices make others seem better.

luckily our local Hermes guy does seem to give a toss, but where possible, ie given the choice, I always use RM.

Would that be @ 40mph as he drives past ? >:D
Over 300 parcels sent via Hermes, only one problem, and that got resolved.
A package of wheelsets for me from N Train arrived this morning - using Hermes. Posted probably Monday. So no problem on this one
I placed a order with Hattons on Tuesday night, they just left the order all day yesterday and only processed it today. Standards are slipping I am afraid, I specified RM who it will come bye is anyones guess,.Our Hermes guy is not too bad for delivery and seems quite friendly.
It seems that unless you pay the extra for next day express delivery (£7.00 'ish) they don't seem to bother actioning the order for at least 24 hours. :veryangry:

"
I counted them all out and I counted them all back"?
... just had two deliveries from Hermes..
one today
one yesterday..
on time and helpful!!!
I've responded to the latest Amazon Email, with "supply new items but use RM or Parcel force, if you can't guarantee that please refund & I'll shop elsewhere"
I don't know if Hermes and Myhermes are the same but I assume so.
Hermes sought fit to just leave parcels pout on an open street before, last time the dumped a package under a gutter leak -contents were damaged anyway so went through refund process. But there was a delivery slip l;eft hanging in the breeze from the front door saying how they can't leave without a signature yet they deemdc out on the street a "safe place" to leave.
I have been struggling with myHermes for almost two weeks now. Tracking isn't representative, myHermes say they have tried to deliver when they have not as we were in on supposed attempts. Fair play we did miss one delivery attempt and got a "missed slip" (which said second attempt but we have no record of the first attempt?), but incomplete with no date, time, name or phone number -just said re-delivery Sat 14th. Nobody called at the house on Saturday despite me giving them my mobile number for the guy to update me on ETA.
I avoid Hermes / MyHermes at all costs -the reputation speaks for itself. Second worst to Yodel. However this time the seller has been very helpful and we've found out that the courier driver has been stealing packages and we're not the only person caught up in this. Unfortunately hermes would have had nothing to do with it unless it was elevated to management level and now the police are involved.
I know bad press shows up more than good but it's re-affirmed my policy based on previous experience NEVER use anything to do with YODELor HERMES. I can't count the number of times with the likes of Hattons I SPECIFICALLY state RM yet they change to courier -last delivery from them my packages were dumped in the bin -on bin day (for my convenience "smiley face" on the incomplete card I found) and I went nuts. What do you do -I don't order from Hattons any more. I don't order from anyone who can't commit to good delivery. End of.
