Off on my Hols for 2 weeks tomorrow, and won't be using the Internet again till I get back.
Just a shame I was unable to finish changes to my layout before leaving, but am still waiting some necessary items from Hattons & Gaugemaster - but they should be here waiting for me when I return home.
Have made a few minor changes to what I had planned to do, and have still a fair bit of scenery modifications to make, but I don't need any more rolling stock, unless I see something I really like.
Unlike on the July Norway cruise, will not be riding on any trains this time as there are none where we are going, but I can live with that as me and the misses just want to relax, and maybe stuff ourselves with good food & drink and be entertained afterwards.
Probably won't make my next Forum post until at least November 13th, and all I can leave you with is my latest Scarm 3D drawing of what I am now working on. Besides working on finishing that, when I get home it will be just about time to start writing out my Xmas list of what N gauge items my Son & Daughter should be getting me this year.
Bye for now
Terry
PS. Has anyone ever created a 3D image of British Outline engines in Scarm, which I could then use as a substitute for the simple cylinders I have used on my layout drawing to represent locomotives on the track. Someone has done it for U.S. Locos but it looks quite complicated, but would improve the look of the layout drawing.

Have a lovely relaxing break Terry.
Enjoy your trip!
Probably too late now so I hope you both had a great holiday.
Have fun!
You'd have loved this... biggest horse race in Australia tomorrow, and they paraded the jockeys through Melbourne in Triumph Stags!
Thanks for all your good wishes.
Got back this morning and currently unpacking all the clothes that will no longer fit me because of eating and drinking too much on the cruise.
Thoroughly enjoyed it, and have now visited all of the Islas Canarias bar one (the smallest) -
thought Madeira was lovely, but too many flies around when we got to Morocco. Will eventually put a photo video of the trip on my YouTube website.
Interesting to read Bealman about the horse race with the jockeys being paraded round beforehand in Triumph Stags - could be that the cars were the best thoroughbreds they had ever ridden! :D
2 parcels arrived whilst I was away, one from Hattons (just some buffers), and another from Gaugemaster (a Kibri bridge).
Lots of emails to catch up on and Forum posts and need to go on a diet.
Speak to you again soon.
Terry
Very pleased that you enjoyed your trip.
Madeira is indeed beautiful and Morocco is amazing (we didn't have a fly problem there at all) - very interesting to see goats up trees !
