Title: My old layout
Post by: steve836 on October 11, 2015, 09:18:52 PM
When I moved house 4 years ago, I gave my old layout to my grandson. Owing to lack of space in the garage where it is housed, he was not able to make use of it as much as he wanted and has lost interest. My son & grandson wish to sell. Would other members please advise on the best way forward. Should it be sold as a job lot, complete with controlers, stock etc. or would it be better to split and sell the layout as one item and sell the controllers and stock as separate items?

My guess is it depends on the buyer. If they're a complete beginner they may be glad of the controllers and buildings. The buildings all appear to be card kits so you'll get half of naff all for them, but if you have any Lyddle End stuff I'd sell them separately as they fetch decent prices. If your stock is all in good nick you'd do well to sell it on the forum N'Porium :D
To sum up, I would advise advertising the layout but state in your ad that controller(s) and buildings could be made available.
