Oh gawd - I still have 24 years on this misbegotten earth.
Who knows - I might just get one of the layouts finished :hmmm:
Yikes only 23 years left .

Another 1/4 of a century to go, I wonder how many layouts I will build in that time :NGaugersRule:
Sounds OK for some of you lot out there, it only gives me 9 which would make it 90, but with an outside chance of 7% for making the ton. My mother made it to 97, her younger brother to 93, oldest brother only managed 88, but then he did get gassed in WW1.

It does, for some. :)
I dont dare put my details into those sorts of sites, it might return minus10 !
(I'm already on minus6 coming up 7:( )
OMG - I'd better crack on with my layout then!! :)
It is of course way overly simplistic just using 2 variables.
But for a laugh I gave it a go anyway and am very perturbed to discover that my chances of reaching 115 are so insignificantly small as to be zero. On the up-side, I'm almost guaranteed to reach 1.15 tomorrow (which is just over 2 hours away as I write this).
But will the extra worry I just put into that little exercise, and its results, shorten my life?
I'll let you know if I don't make it past 1.15 tomorrow morning. Somehow.

It says I'll reach 86 and I can collect my pension at 88. How does that work then?!?
Edit: Erm, forget that, I read the graph wrong. It says I have an 88% chance of collecting my pension. Phew.
Hi
The one big problem with that is that it doesn't take into account long term illness such as Diabetes for example.
Cheers
Paul
With the only variables being age and sex, it doesn't take anything into account. But it's still funny. :beers:
:o 87 OMG that's far to long. must consult my GP and see if that can be shortened
I think I'll just stay married.
Q. Why do husbands die before their wives?
A. Because they want to.

It's not funny if you're a 105 year old male. It only gives you another year to go. And that graph goes almost Beachy Head-esque.
Yeah, it sorta gives up after that.
Try telling it you're 125 years old and either male or female. You'll be told you have a 1 in 4 chance of reaching infinity! And also a 1 in 10 chance of the same.
Oh to live to infinity.
Sorta like standing between 2 mirrors.
Except no one has ever satisfactorily explained to me why your image curves off into the distance. :worried: ;)
