Title: Tyre deliveries
Post by: Alex on December 05, 2011, 07:14:50 PM
Hi,

Does anyone know how tyres are delivered to the drive in tyre fitting specialists? Are they delivered loose, on pallets or in those large metal cages.

Any help, thoughts appreciated.

Hi  Alex,

This truck   is  at a race meet i  think  but the tyres seem to  be  loose not in  cages

Eck - loose in trucks or vans - no pallets for you to build here I'm afraid  ;)

I'm sure I remember years ago that Kwik Fit had them delivered in a 7 and a half tonner and all of the tyres were stored in horizontal rows and the tyres were held vertically in racks.
