Title: Tiny numbers?
Post by: petercharlesfagg on August 17, 2015, 08:29:23 AM
Is there ANY possibility that the numbers under the listings for "Unread Posts" and elsewhere i.e. 1 or 2 or sometimes 3 be made bigger?

I find it quite difficult to line up my cursor with the small number to go to the next page.

If it is only me experiencing problems then do not bother.

Peter.

Peter
If you use internet explorer or google chrome, you can make the text and images bigger or smaller
Bigger press 'ctrl' and 'plus' keys together
Smaller press 'ctrl' and 'minus' keys together
:beers:

Or in IE, look at the 100% on the bottom right - click it to go larger

Thank you gentlemen, unfortunately I use Firefox!

Couldn't get on with IE and Chrome got too bossy, i.e translating pages when I didn't want them translated!

Try using a finger on a mobile phone, Peter! The number of times I've managed to inadvertently lock all thank yous because my big fat finger has hit the wrong button....  :-[

I know you can get a stylus to avoid things like that, but I haven't got a round tuit yet!

Thank you Michael, if like myself you do not know these tricks then confusion reigns!

Now all I hope is that I can remember the formula!

George, thank you.  One day I might get myself one of these mobile phone thingys!  I have seen my wife spend 5 minutes trying to send a text when she could have called and be finished in 2!  Daft in my book.

To be honest Peter, because of my geographical location and the time zones, I post a lot of my entries on the forum from my phone, as I'm doing now. I'm currently in a motel a good couple of hours from home!

I actually discovered the forum originally on a phone!

Basically, it's a computer in the palm of your hand. And a camera.... satnav
... and oh, yes, sometimes you can make calls  ;D

There is a further tweak in Firefox,
Ctrl +/-, can be made to change the size of either text only or text&pictures :-

Go to View, then to Zoom, then un-tick the "Zoom text only"

I use the Firefox Add-On NoSquint, which provides you with" - ~% +" buttons on the address bar.
