MREMagazine reports some 04 shunters, a new type of Hawksworth coach and newly tooled A2s have been released from the factory in China and are on the way towards the UK.

Phew! Nothing there I actually need. Tweedmouth shed had five A2s in 1961/62, but I don't think the track gang would have thanked Control for sending one up the Belstone branch. Having said which, they did once despatch a Class 46 diesel to Duns with the daily branch goods. Predictably the breakdown crane had to be summoned to put it back on the rails again.
Whoopee! I should get my Blue Peter from Liverpool in the foreseeable future. Now to go for a pre order for a pair of green Claytons!
