Title: Dapol Class 121 Bubble car
Post by: port perran on December 01, 2011, 09:48:21 PM
Was in my local Kernow Model Rail Centre last weekend. Actually buying some 00 goods at Christmas presents !
Apparently comiing in the New Year will be the Dapol 121 Bubblecar in Choc/Cream GWR livery. As ran on the St Ives Branch.
I was thinking of buying the new model in green with cats whiskers but think I'll wait for the GWR version.

Not sure if you know but it will be a limited edition of 250 units....
May be worth putting in a pre order....

After much tooing and froing I've finally decided to go for the green version with speed whiskers.
Choc & Cream (as applied to St Ives Branch 121) didn't come about till 1980s and my era is late 50s/early 60s.
So.......picking up green bubble car next week some time.
