Title: Doing my duty
Post by: Christina on August 03, 2015, 06:53:55 PM
So I just gave my 3yr old neice her first taste of model railways!  :D I think she enjoyed it, I let her at the controls and she seemed to be having fun, now I need to get her her own set...

Good on ya ...

SWMBO has a 'nephew' (son of a cousin) back up in the NE, and she found out he was into 'push-along Thomas' last time she was up ... needless to say, she started correcting him into the correct classes and names  ::)  And to keep winding up the family, she's sent him a couple of 'Thomas' items he didn't have & some colouring books ...  Every time he visits his Grandma & Grandpa he wants to know if 'Aunty' has sent him anything else  :P  Just after his b'day (we hadn't known when it was  :() he got a Princess Elizabeth t-shirt  ::)

When he gets a bit older (think he's 4 now ?), she's planning on taking him & Grandpa to get a proper railway  :P - personally, I reckon 'Grandpa' is looking forwards to that more that the laddie is  ::)

That's the way to do it! I see you're in Liverpool - maybe take her along to Hattons for a day out...
