She died in her sleep last night. A wonderful way to go at 72

She said that she wanted to go before reaching 75 and she got her wish.

A great lady and entertainer, one of the old school and will be sorely missed, RIP Cilla.

She was a  bit forgotten , but I saw her live a good few years ago before
the Blind Date programme and she was gorgeous....

Yep, my mother was an ardent fan and would watch her show religiously every week when I was a teenager. A canny working class girl who put out some great songs back in the sixties. I was saddened by the news.
