Once you're hooked you'll just have to have more or join kettles anonymous.

Alan.
You have a really serious problem and if you allow it to continue this problem will seriously damage your wealth.
I'm sure any shrink would recommend a class 40, 85 and 105 be put through the ray and copious amounts of youtube viewing.. DIESEL and electric only mind!

Good luck with your affliction!

Mark

Leave the diseasels behind.

Mix & match, I say. That's why the BR transition period appeals to me.

Plus the fact that the only colour for a diseasal is GREEN.

;) ;)

Mix & match, I say. That's why the BR transition period appeals to me all those different kettles from different areas all under one livery

Plus the fact that the only colour  a diseasal makes you is GREEN with poisoning  :P

;) ;)

The trick is not to try and cure the condition but to manage it for good quality of life. I prescribe a daily dose of coal and water. If symptoms do not improve, I suggest visiting one of the many treatment centres conveniently located throughout the UK. Assuming your location is Sussex, this may be your nearest. ;)

Wrong!!!!!
What about maroon, desert sand, golden ochre, white (Lion) and the lovely 'Kestrel', George?

As for kettleitis, Alan, welcome to the world of steam. For sheer great running/looks I'd suggest you add a J39, Fairburn tank, Jinty, 4F and Ivatt 2MT 2-6-0 to your stud at the very least :)

Not mala*hite either, looks like proper Maunsell olive green. Looks like it might be a King Arthur.

Hi Mike

Try another view of the "Arthur"

It's keeping me company while I wait for Dapol to "Extractus Digitus"

What's in the background of T9 shot then? Looks Southern with a number under it on what looks like a Maunsell 6 wheel tender, not another T9, also looks like it has smoke deflectors, outside cylinders and the footplate drops at the front and at the cab, I'd make a guess at a Del Prado Schools, (or an image on the back scene) in view of your Dapol comment.

chucked reverently placed it on the test track, and runs smooth and quiet in both directions.

so a definite   on this one.

hopefully this may cure my kettleitis, but who knows  >:D

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but kettleitis is incurable, and you only have the early onset symptoms. The degree of the disease may wax and wane but sooner or later you'll need another kettle injection, sure as eggs is eggs. The worst case scenario is when you catch yourself sniffing, not chemical products, but lumps of coal. DO NOT ATTEMPT SNIFFING COKE!!!!!
