Title: Anyone used Jorgen Edgar Models?
Post by: njee20 on April 25, 2015, 07:40:35 AM
Just stumbled upon his website, here (http://jorgenedgar.se/eng/eng.index.html).

Seems to be churning out custom built models of just about everything. All hand painted, so finishing quality isn't exceptional, although you can ask him to do the basic livery and then add proper decals.

The prices seem good for what he's doing, and the sheer diversity of his range is impressive. Anyone used him?

No idea if he could do British stuff to 1:148, admittedly having them all as 1:160 isn't ideal.

Edit: static models. Dammit, thought I'd found a poor man's Chris Marchant. Nothing to see here, move along.

Hello.
I've ordered him an SJ Ra in Z scale. The result is really good, but it's true it is not as good as an industrial production.
It is a powered model: I've provided the chassis and the body was built on top of it.

Thus, if there is a suitable chassis on the market, any model can be powered.
Since the models are hand made, I suppose that it is possible to get a model in 1:148 scale.

The best would be to ask Jörgen Edgar. He may also be able to suggest a chassis (as he did for me).
Have a nice week.
