Being a fairly newbie on here, but becoming more addicted as the months go by,
was just wondering :-
1) How often do members visit the Forum as a norm?
(eg. Daily/Weekly/Occassionally).
2) How often do they work on their model railway?
In my own case I tend to access the NGF virtually daily, but work on my railway only about 3 or 4 times a week for about a couple of hours each visit.
Anyone done a poll on the subject?
Totally addicted to NGF - visit several times a day - especially if I'm using the computer anyway.
Layout under construction - don't spend as much time as I should on it - will not get done unless I extract digit.
:beers:
I log on several times a day and usually manage to get about 6 hours a week in on my layout.
Like others,I spend far too much time just browsing the forum and elsewhere and far too little time on the other important things like the layout!
Peter.
Glad I'm not the only one to spend far too much time seeing what everyone else is doing on their layout and not doing much on my own!!
C :)
I spend far too much time browsing for ideas
By the time I sit in front of layout I have forgotten everything and do something unplanned
Addicted
I view the Forum at least once a day [usually more] on my i pad but normally only post when on a laptop.
I try and a get at least a couple of hours work on the layout every other day, but despite being retired still find it difficult to find enough time.
So "Only Me" you have my sympathy
Ray
Totally addicted to the forum, I browse 3 to 4 times a day, as for the railway I try to spend one hour at least a day and the weekend after easter I should be able to get some serious hours on it as the wife is going out with her sister, my bucket list is getting huge and if I get half of what is on it I will be well pleased.
I guess no one has to ask how addicted I am  :-[
I only log on once a month...........................
I'm here 3 to 4 times a day at least. I can't really do any work on the layout during the week I'm out of the house 16 hours a day but I can take small projects to do with me (like Metcalfe kits etc). I get to work on the layout on weekends but have been busy with family stuff lately so haven't done anything but buy rolling stock for the last month. Oh well.

Daily check on the forum for me, work on the layout only at weekends unfortunately. Not so much due to pressure of work, more to do with the layout being at our weekend place
Chaps, we are not addicted unless we admit we have a problem :bounce:
The only problem I have is that non-railway related chores (work, shopping, domestic chores and FAMILY) rather rudely keep getting in the way :help:
My wife is starting to notice that I'm on NGF a fair bit. Only been with this forum a couple of months, but I'm already up to 3+ visits per day. It's good fun and interesting as all decent addictions ought to be.
Construction on my layout is suffering as I also have an addiction to watching ice hockey on TV (3 hours at a pop) and there are only a limited number of hours in a day, unfortunately.

I must admit to being very addicted .Tank very kindly put the forum on my IPad
about this time last year at the Ridlestone meet up and it has cheered me up I was really down in the dumps at the time for various reasons .I go on the forum quite a lot every day and I've met some very nice people and I hope made some good friends , too many to name in case I miss someone out .
It's great to meet people with the same interest and although I've been into N gauge a long time I learn a lot from fellow members
Long may the forum continue.
Bob
I keep up to date at least 3 times a day.
I like the friendliness of the forum and like Bob, I have made some good friends on here.
It's a great mix of ages and eras and interests so I can read and join in the threads that I like and no one worries if I don't contribute to those I'm less interested in.
It's also a great place for encouragement too so.......let's keep it going just as it is.
And yes, Id say I am addicted !
