Copied froma post I put on facebook...
As some of you may know I have got a new day job. Whilst this does not stop me from modelling altogether it will impact it somewhat. I have made the decision to sell up at least temporarily. A quantity of my stock and the part finished New Street layout will be moving home shortly to join Apa Park and Apagele. Everything else is still up for sale. Once the new job settles down a little I may or may not return to modelling in my spare time (I will be doing it for my job anyway) so will assess my motivations again in the future. As it stands I would like to thank each and every one of you who has supported and encouraged me along the way. It has given me confidence to be able to accept my new role and I certainly hope I can make myself useful in the future. I would rather not discuss my new position in a public forum for various reasons but I can say it is a big step for me to make. Once again, thanks. I will still be around these parts if in more of an armchair position.
Good luck with the new job. I have enjoyed seeing your box layouts has been very interesting Hope you can stick around in some capacity
Very enigmatic post, Steve :hmmm:
Please tell us if you are going to be a spy for Farish or Dapol :worried:
Whatever you'll be doing, I wish you all success :beers:
Good luck with the new job, i'll miss your posts and seeing how much faster you build stuff than i'll ever manage! I'm sorry I missed out on the New St'esque project, i'd have liked to finish that! :'( Hope to see you back on here sometime in the future mate.
Starting a new job always involves a bit of stress regardless of what it is.
All the best with it!

I'm sure you will still make a good contribution to the forum
Sorry to hear this! Your APA layouts are what inspired me to get back into N! All the best.
I hope the new job goes down well for you Steve :NGaugersRule:
cheers John.
A shame you are giving up the hobby, I hope all goes well.
cheers, Stu.
Good luck with your new job! I hope the new owner of "New Street" will post some photos of the layout's further progress - despite not being remotely my era of interest, I found your thread on RMWeb really interesting to read not to mention very inspiring in the way you captured the feel of a prototype location in such a compact space.
