Title: An Idiot Abroad
Post by: Pete Mc on November 11, 2011, 09:58:55 PM
Hi all, just.wondered if anyone has seen any or all of the episodes of this fascinating and hilarious travel programme if that is what it can be loosely called.
It features Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant who send Carl Pilkington to various places around the world.
The second series which ended tonight, was all about bucket lists, thats the places and things people want do before they die.It may sound a bit morbid but trust me,it is very funny and friday nights are going to be dull without it.

I just can't stand Ricky Gervais anymore.  I used to like him, but I find that he just laughs too much, and falsely at that, just to make the audience laugh more.  I feel he's been Americanised!  I could be wrong, and I've just seen the two episodes that I saw in the wrong light.

Fear not,I read this week he has been banished from America because he took the mickey out of Robert Downey Jr and some other Hollywood megastars at an awards ceremony he was presenting and it did'nt go down too well,so perhaps he will return to being british.I personally think that having seen him live,he is incredibly funny although I agree on the laugh bit,its almost as annoying as James Cordens laugh.
