Title: Peco SL-347 Dummy Point Motors
Post by: ScottyStitch on March 06, 2015, 10:23:07 AM
Does anyone use these fellas on their layout? any pics of them in place with ballast, weathering, etc. Do they look the part, or are there better alternatives oput there for the UK railway, based on the sixties?

I have a couple of packs but haven't fitted them yet. Here's a pic of one in situ at Carlisle.

Hi ScottyStitch,

We've used them on out layout, this isn't probably the best shot as it was to show progress with the Catenary, but there are a couple in shot, so you can see what we've done. Looking at the pic above, we probably haven't mounted ours correctly, or we have very deep ballast ;-)

Obviously not painted or weathered just yet.

Cheers, Mark.
