Despite them being hopeless at getting back to me regarding advertising ( ;) ), I have just paid for the 4 issues.  Thank you Newportnobby.

Thanks, Mick. After trying the website purchase process before Christmas and having it fail on me, I hesitated before having another go. Luckily it seemed to work this time. Sadly I spent a few seconds staring at 'subscribe to four 2015 magazines' thinking, well wait a minute, what about this year's mags first, not next year's. Oh dear.

My first copy dropped through the door today (Issue 1 - 2014). Next issue (Feb 2015 is due soon).
It's a good  magazine (60 pages) printed on good quality paper. Pictures pretty good and some interesting articles. Unlike many of the popular multi-gauge mags this one is not half full of adverts which is refreshing.
Not sure I learned a lot but it's a good read overall and I enjoyed reading it.
Looking forward to the next issue.

If it was sent 2nd class and didn't get picked up till Monday evening (possibly the first collection after the 8th) then it is not so unreasonable.

I've just got my issue 1 and it's a pretty good read. It's also a very well written read - no turgid text or littering of spelling mistakes here (I found two in the whole magazine so far). I'm looking forward to the next issue at the end of this month, and will certainly volunteer an article or two.

Many thanks to all for the reviews...
The US postage made it very expensive, so reading the reviews gave me the confidence to splash out the £75 to get some new reading material.

OK - the first of the 2015 issues was due in February and there's still no sign of it :unimpressed:
Has anyone else received a copy yet?

Not in Devizes either.

I received all the others within a couple of days of ordering though about 3 weeks ago.

I made a post on another thread about this mag, I don't think the magazine is due for publishing until later this month. I'll have a look at my emails when I get home.

Cheers

Neal.

Don't worry Neal, I've found it in one of my emails:

"THANK you for subscribing to N GAUGE NOW: THE MAGAZINE for 2015 - and this is to confirm that the first issue of your subscription, Issue 2, is now scheduled for publication on or around 12th March. It is then planned for further issues to follow at roughly three-monthly intervals thereafter - with publication dates around the end of May, August and November."

So around another week yet which is just as well as I haven't read the others yet!

I ordered Issue 1 on February 26th and received a "Thank you for your order" e-mail on the same day.
Rather worryingly, up to now that is all that I HAVE received so I hope that, when it arrives, it IS worth the wait !

Mark, I got a cost of £40 for a 1 year subscription to the US. Did you order some of the other items as as well?

Much as I'm interested, I'm holding off until I make my final decision as to what scale I will work in.

Yes, I ordered one of just about everything. So far I only received the four list-type guides, no annual or 2014 issue 1 yet...

Maybe they will come with my first 2015 issue?

Ok, that explains the price difference.

If I do settle on working in N, I'll definitely send in a sub, and most likely buy the other issues, as well.

What area of NC are you in? Just curious.
