Title: Conscious Uncoupling
Post by: Chatty on December 23, 2014, 03:26:02 AM
At first I thought this was referring to Dapol's knuckle couplers but in reality it came up in the Plain English Foundation 2014 list of worst words and phrases.

The full list can be seen here:--

Kind regards

Geoff

Been there done that :D, wish I'd been unconscious though...may have saved a fortune  :laugh3:

Likewise - thrice. I wish she'd been unconscious though. That would definitely have provided a few more locos :)

What a load of blinking nonsense.

Separation is separation no matter how painful.

Unconscious uncoupling is bad rolling stock or bad track, conscious uncoupling is Dapol magnetic couplers or an actress and bishop joke; actually this is often coupling.

Anybody ready to vote for plain English ?
