Thought I might try and make up a couple of the GWR mail coaches as seen below. I've got a couple of the Bachfar Royal Mail coaches I could use as a basis, would these be ok and if so, does anyone know of a source of preferably vinyl overlays or with a repaint, some suitable transfers.

Recommend Robbie's transfers - see www.robbiesrollingstock.co.uk (http://www.robbiesrollingstock.co.uk) - easy to fit and really convincing in N gauge. Why wait 20 years for a proprietary issue? You can pick up bargain Farish bogie stock from Hattons and bob's your uncle! :)
The GWR 7 foot w.b. bogies are available from Dapol: http://www.ehattons.com/36667/Dapol_NBog1_pair_bogies_for_B_Set_Coaches/StockDetail.aspx (http://www.ehattons.com/36667/Dapol_NBog1_pair_bogies_for_B_Set_Coaches/StockDetail.aspx)
The 50 foot length of many GWR Mail vans matches the Dapol Siphons too (available unpainted at £6 each).http://www.ehattons.com/62110/Dapol_2F_024_000_Siphon_G_milk_wagon_unpainted/StockDetail.aspx (http://www.ehattons.com/62110/Dapol_2F_024_000_Siphon_G_milk_wagon_unpainted/StockDetail.aspx)
Possibly combine Robbies sides with plasticard or modified Mike Howarth bodyshells?
The GWR TPO is somewhat different from the BR version sold by Farish. If you want an accurate model, Etched Pixels do kits for the L21, L22 and L25.

The example in your picture is an L23 I believe.

Completely different threads, it would be like merging a thread about a Class 37 loco with a Class 66 just because they are both locos.
