Title: December RM
Post by: GroupC on November 13, 2014, 02:26:50 PM
Have just got the new Railway Modeller mag and featured as their Railway of the Month is the outstanding "Tanners Hill" by Steve Farmer. Hats off to Mr Farmer for his superb work.

What's more, there's also "Rosehill" in N by Malcolm Keyzer. "Chapeau" to Mr Keyzer too, for another star turn in what's a bit of a feast for us N Gaugers because next month it's The Famous Ollie with the Sheaf Valley. Also in this month's issue however, if we can (and I think we should) embrace trams and finescalers, we also get an N tram layout and a 2FS creation, "Tucking Mill", on page 962 which for those in the know is very appropriate number to go with my NGF pseudonym.

Hi,
Yup, my subscription copy arrived Saturday and I would recommend perusal at a local WHS 'Reading Room'  :D
Unfortunately my copy's plastic bag had several holes in it, I spent a good deal of time drying the pages so they wouldn't stick together

I had suspected, but lacked an excuse to go so off topic to comment - so here goes... Some great drivers and cars in that period  , but for me it will always be the "heads down, no nonsense, mindless, (until those glorious 917/10 and 917/30) Group 7 " - Can-Am style.
It was never going to last but while it did
