Inspired by Bealman's "Spur of the Moment adventure story" I decided to create a video clip presentation myself - calling it "A Pictorial History of my Life & Travels".
Having taken lots of photographs during my lifetime, I decided to put a selection of them together into an Album featuring lots of the places I have been to, as well as where I have both lived and worked.
A few model and real trains do appear in it, and I am open to comments and critiscmns of the video as it is only the 1st edition, and I may change or add to it later.
The quality of the photos shown does vary considerably as they were taken with a number of different cameras (both ancient & modern) under different conditions.
For the 1st 31 years of my life I enjoyed a carefree bachelor lifestyle, but have now been married for longer than when I was single, and have a son and daughter who have so far provided us with 5 grandchildren.
The idea of the video is that on quiet moments I can sit back with a drink in my hand and watch it, reminiscing about everything I have done in my life, and to be honest, there is not a lot I would change if I could live it over again.
As of now the video is a silent movie with no sound added, and is just over 20 minutes long, but that may change in a later version.
If you have the time and are interested then Press "Play" on the link below.
PS. Just noticed an error on our Wedding Day photo - I have type 1994 instead of 1974 - the wife will kill me if she spots it, will make a correction after seeing if there are any other mistakes. (error now corrected 13/11/14)

I watched it all and recognised a few places but I have to say, not enough trains! ;)

That's why I posted it in the "General Discussion" Forum and not a train specific Forum.
Nice video Terry, but one thing puzzles me. During the video, Maureen doesn't seem to age. Does she have one of those portraits in the attic, like Dorian Grey?

My wife is 10 years younger than I am, and I agree with you Malc - she ages very well, well better than I do, but moving to Tenerife did her a world of good as she suffers from rheumatoid arthritus which doesn't like cold weather.
I must say most of the resident ex-pats here seem fit & healthy, partly due to the climate, healthier living, and less stress, plus the fact that it is considerably cheaper to live here than in the U.K., otherwise I wouldn't be able to afford to go on so many cruises.
We did get a few complaints though when the equivalent of the U.K. VAT rate (called I.G.I.C. here) was raised from 5% to 7.5% some years ago. I think living in a climate where the Sun shines most days makes you look younger than you actually are.
