Title: Sadly - Giving Up N Gauge
Post by: DWS on November 10, 2014, 02:21:37 PM
Hello,

Firstly I hope it is OK to post this here.

Due to a change in circumstances I am having to give up my plans to build a model railway.  Therefore I am selling all my N Gauge equipment, i.e. locos, rolling stock, part built shelf layout (Midsomer Magna) and accessories etc.

I am currently putting together a list of all the items I have and would prefer to sell the whole set-up as a Job Lot (I live in West Yorkshire), though I may consider selling some items individualy.

Anyone interested can contact me for a copy of the list, which I should have ready by the end of the week.

Regards

Dave

Sorry to hear that Dave,

I hope it is nothing serious that has caused you to take this decision.

All the best

John.

Nothing serious, thanks for asking, just a change of personal circumstances.

I'm sorry to hear that you are leaving the hobby Dave but please don't be a stranger on this site.
You never know, you could be back in a position one day where you can start again.

All the very best

Dave

All the best, Dave - as others have said, no need to leave the forum, though!

Hi,

Very sorry you are having to do this.
Make sure it is what you want to do.
I had the same thing over 20 years ago now, although I did not have a huge amount of stock I was convinced I would never be able to set up a layout ever again (not due to illness or anything but personal circumstances) but could just never bring myself to sell any of my stock (all unused).
Anyway glad I didn't because 20+ years later having this stock enticed me to give it a go again.

If it is definitely what you want then please send me your list.

Steve

Hopefully we'll still see you around, I hope whatever is causing this resolves itself the way you want it to. If you could post a list, that'd be fab thank you.
