Title: EWS vinyls
Post by: Adrian on November 02, 2014, 10:39:50 PM
One of the banner headings that appears when starting up the Forum depicts four UK large diesel locos in various liveries.
The left hand one is a class 60 that has been "re-badged" with the early bright yellow/maroon EWS vinyls.

Presumably the source of this transfer was the now withdrawn/unobtainable Fox transfers products.

I bought a set of these transfers for a 4mm scale project but did not at the time obtain any for 2mm

I wonder if anyone in the group might have a spare pair of the 2mm EWS vinyls to suit the Class 60 - I would be happy to pay a decent price of course!

Also, if it would help anyone else, I would also trade one of my 4mm sets for the 2mm equivalent

regards and thank you

Adrian

Adrian,

Have a look at this recent thread which will give you details on how to obtain some "Beasties".

That'll be my pic, and yes can confirm they were the now discontinued Fox transfers decals.

Thanks very much Nigel for the heads up on this.

Seems like my enquiry couldn't have been timed better!

Have been in touch with Adam and vinyls in the post

Brilliant!
