Title: British Made GWR 61xx Body Removal
Post by: longbridge on November 01, 2014, 08:41:17 AM
I just bought a couple of older British made GWR 61xx locos and would like to give them a light oil, I have serviced many locos over the years but N gauge locos for me are less forgiving if you happen to undo the wrong screw, my eyesight is not what it used to be.

I did a forum search to see if I could find anything relevent but could not find anything, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't had a good look at this particular model, but if its the same as any of mine you will need to remove the screw securing the front pony truck to remove the body.

Be careful when you remove the body on some models the cylinder block is not secured to the chassis.
