Another star gone....
Black gloves, long sideburns a strange haircut.... Top of the Pops a bit disturbing that I remember him so clearly....

If I told you my sister's Alvin Stardust story (I can't; it's a family forum) you'd be even more disturbed! :o  :o
Spill the beans, don't hide behind your sister , give us the facts!
Well it was in the 70's, in Alvin's heyday, he'd palyed a gig in Hull and my sister and her friend met him in a hotel and went to his room.
Whereupon, Mr Stardust produced an attache case................full of sex toys.
Liza Goddard would have been appalled :-X
I take it he will be with the angels now!
RIP

OK, you will have to explain this bit, please. Thanks, Bill.
She's Alvin's ex-wife
I'm sorry folks but I was never a fan. However, RIP.
Also Shane Fenton Died same day

I wasn't a fan of his music, either, but he was great as the barman in "The Grimleys" - RIP indeed

Very appropriate, one of the lines in My Coocachoo was "Chains, chains, I'm all in chains" :D
I met him briefly after a gig in the south, a good while after his ToTP days, he was signing
the albums for sale and was very friendly and chatty. Didn't see the attache case though....
