Was hugely tempted for a Cream/Umber set.
Then the car, just 4 years old, decided to sulk. Garage estimate up to £1500 and a week to fix. :'(
Ah, modern technology! Don't ya just hate it!? >:D

Please share what types of cars these are. I want to make sure I never buy one! :o
Matt
I was advised by my garage that the cambelt was due for replacement when I booked it in for its service/MOT. Cost of the lot being over £700 with the cambelt accounting for over half. Apparently the diesel Sciroccos have rubber cambelts  but the petrol ones are metal - anyone know why this is?
I was considering changing my car anyway so decided to bring that forward by a few months so yesterday drove out my nearly new Scirocco after getting a very good deal from my garage.
Had to swerve sharply to avoid a car whose driver somehow decided they had the right of way :censored: even though the parked cars were on their side of the road and kerbed one of the alloys  Probably cost about £120 to fix (by the time I have driven to the wheel specialists, caught the train back etc). Had the tyre checked out because a very small amount of rubber was shaved off and fortunately it is still safe to drive.
Nice set of wheels there Jane..

George
Do you think they are trying to tell you something? :D
Kind regards

More Ugh than Eek George but at least it's working (I hope).
My 4 year old Peugeot 5008 THP has had a series of sensor problems and a replacement timing chain, all under warranty.
The current round of faults includes a whole set of timning sensors and probably needs yet another chain PLUS new water pump and reservoir. The Peugeot dealer recommends we complain to Peugeot and that the car is sold on as soon as possible. :censored:

This is why I decided to change my car - had not got these faults but was advised that the parts should be replaced

This is what I go back to, so I can live with orange I guess
Is that a Holden ?
Best regards,
Joe
Yes Joe, the orange one indeed is! Apart from the colour, it's not bad, actually.
Mine has been out of actions since last tuesday when it was discovered there was a leak in the turbo inlet pipe. I could hear just a very very slight whistle and once id worked out it wasnt wind noise knew it had to be the turbo system. Thanks to Fords wonderful design to change the paper oil filter (:censored: dont get me started) you have to take this pipe off along with the air box to get access to it. Obviously 6 services and the jubliee clip which holds one end of the pipe on has decided to pull throught the rubber. When i phoned up the supplying dealer i was told it was a common problem and covered under warrenty trouble is they couldnt do it for a week so its going in on weds for it to be replaced. Engine is the 1.6TDCI 110 turbo killer by the way!
