I would like to make a donation to this Forum but it only seems to accept "Paypal" donations and that is where the problem lies.
Have always had problems with Paypal ever since we emigrated abroad and changed address format from British to Spanish.
Paypal will talk to me in English until I put my address in as a Spanish colony and it immediately swaps to the Spanish language for entering Credit Card details, and although I understand enough Spanish to type in what it needs it always comes up with an error message.
That is why I never use Paypal and pay for goods direct with my English Credit Card. Is there anyway I can make a donation not using Paypal please.
Paypal thinks that if it is a Spanish address you are Spanish and swaps languages.
I just tried to make a donation on here but got the usual error message even though I know I filled in the details correctly. I can't give an English address as my credit card has my Tenerife address registered against it and it needs it to verify who I am.
Can the NGF accept other than a Paypal donation is my question.
Create yourself another PayPal account with an English address and use a different email address (I use a gmail one). I have separate English & a Spanish PayPal accounts so I can use either my English or Spanish bank card depending on where I buy from and the currency used.
With the English PayPal account I can still have things sent to Spain by adding an additional delivery address.
I had the same problem, so like Caz reverted to a UK address for the Pay pal address details. The cards associated with the account are registered at my Italian address.

Also means that I can bid on UK items when someone doesn't list Worldwide shipping and then get it sent to my parents.

Thanks for all your replies and I have now managed to make a donation, but not sure what triggered it to work O.K..
I decided to set up a 2nd email address in gmail (which is my default email service) with a slightly different name and my Country specified as U.K. - not Spain.
Then switched to the donate function in this Forum and blow me before I could type in my new email address or any other details PayPal suddenly talked to me in English and just wanted me to confirm payment which I did and it went through.
Might try that HideIp option as well though, as there are still a lot of Suplliers who don't recognize the Canary Isles in their list of Countries, and that would be one way round it as well as the other benefits mentioned.
