Title: Class 08 loco as width gauge
Post by: Agrippa on September 22, 2014, 03:36:13 PM
There have been recent posts regarding using a Class 08 shunter as a method of
ensuring clearance at the trackside. If you don't have one no need to buy one,
just cut a piece of card  22mm  x   60mm and fasten it to a flatbed truck with a
rubber band and that will suffice.

It certainly would work but isn't as much fun as an 08.

Presumably the flatbed truck is pulled around by an 08

My mum was well into the 666-666 mallet. Nailed me to the garden fence more than once and said she was doing me a favour!

The mind frequently finds cause for boggling in this forum, and then it gives up boggling and runs away screaming.
