not sure if this is news to anyone but something i noticed while talking to the dapol crew today, on the projection the background i caught a glimpse of a valanced a4...so i hung around and waited for it to come back on again...
first news about the 68s they are going to do...then other stuff...
then bang!
Dapol Valanced A4s, in the ADVANCED DESIGN stage...by george they have it worked out! dont know how long we are gonna be waiting but hey least theres progress!
Wow I missed that one....
....I was concentrating on the news that there is still a 59 in their plans, that the 33's have been "had another go at", the 50's are advancing and the "Nodding Donkey" is due "mid 2015".
But, as you suggest, if this little design problem has been worked out I would be eager to know how? Not that it's my era, just impressive N gauge RTR

I saw this too today! I've been putting off buying a Dapol A4 (or four!) as they'd announced previously that they planned to do a valanced version.
Fingers crossed it will come to fruition as I'd happily have at least one in each of the LNER 1930's liveries!
Still no news :(

Fingers crossed, I have an analogue Mallard on order at eHattons.
My valanced Mallard arrived a couple of weeks ago. And a fine looking engine it is, too.
E-mail from Hattons says they are expecting my grey Silver Fox in January 2017.
