After my trip to Vienna, I'm looking to go to the Utrect show in March, possibly followed by a trip here. http://www.loxx-berlin.de/14-sprachen/11-uk-text (http://www.loxx-berlin.de/14-sprachen/11-uk-text)
Believed to be better than the Hamburg model world.
Anyone been there?
Answer followed by statement:
No, but cool!
When are you coming to Aus?
OINVU! Please keep us informed?
Peter.
Hi Malc
Friends who have been to both said Hamburg's Miniture Wonderland was better (I've only been to the Hamburg model which is great), but Berlin is a great place. In fact both Berlin and Hamburg are great places - it is just that there is so much interesting modern history tied up with Berlin.
Which Utrecht show are you thinking of going to? I was wondering about going to Eurospoor in Utrecht at the end of next month.
Cheers, Mike

Totally agree... I had never been to Hamburg or Berlin until 12 months ago, but Minatur Wunderland was great and Berlin had a vibe that I was not expecting.

Hi Mike,
We were thinking of Ontrax 2015 in Utrecht 6-8 March. Then taking the train
to Bad Driburg to see the most naturalistic model railroad I have heard about ( like an enormous diorama) - HO Anlage in Bad Driburg Modellbundesbahn (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FW8ZUaQ6ijo#ws) .
Then on to Berlin.
George, I have trouble when the temperatures get above 25 deg, so I think Oz would be a bit warm for me!
