Friends,
I have been enquiring of those companies attending TINGS as to whether they can bring any lengths of flexible Peco track Code 80, SL-300 to TINGS that I could purchase and thus save me the postage!
It appears that none of those I have contacted have any intention of bringing flexible track with them!
Therefore, is there anyone attending on Saturday who wishes to sell 4 lengths of new straight sections?
I will pay cash at market prices, i.e. Hattons @ £2.60/ length.
Regards, Peter.
Peter , Cheltenham Model Center usually have Peco Track and also some of thier own which is cheaper but not quite the same quality they also often have points and point motors the points etc are on the end of the stand to the left, having said that I bet they won't have any this year.
See you there sometime I will be there both days
Bob
The last few years there have been several small retailers selling flexi track. I bought some last year off one. Just keep your eyes open.
Peter
I have enough unused Code 55 lengths you can have at £2.00 per length which is what I paid for them.
PM me and we can fix up the details.
Peter,
I have some code 80 for sale, see my posting here http://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?action=classifieds;sa=view;id=1828 (http://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?action=classifieds;sa=view;id=1828)
Not sure from your post, whether you want concrete or wooden sleeper track??
Regards
Neal.

Neal, thankyou for your offer but I did specify SL-300 the concrete sleeper is SL-302.
Sorry I cannot help you in this regard.
Peter.

Bob, thankyou, I had contacted them but there answer was vague and I am unsure if they are bringing Peco or their own brand of flexi track which I understand is steel which would not withstand the damp likely in my workshop!!
Hence the enquiry!
Thanks again, Peter.
I will take my cardboard tube anyway just in case!

Thankyou for your offer, I do suffer from a serious defect that of confusion!
Code 80 is what I would like to continue with to avoid confusion!
You know what I mean? :D :D
Warmest regards, Peter.
Geez, Peter, just gaahn along to Tings and enjoy yersel!
(Said Bealman in his best Aussie-Geordie accent) the Peco code 80 will be there, I'll bet!
:beers: :beers:
I'd love to go to Tings! In fact last year while in Europe, I seriously thought about flying back to the UK for it!!
By the way, I worry about code 80 to 55 transitions too
George
I agree with George - I'd be really gobsmacked if there was no one selling N gauge peco track at TINGS!
I really wouldn't worry too much about the transition from code 80 to 55 or vice versa - it is nothing that a small amount of packing and/or a couple of strokes with a file can't solve and code 55 looks so much better.
Cheers, Mike
Peter, if you're driving to TINGS you could always go into Leamington and call in on Mark at Classic Train and Motor Bus.

He usually has plenty of Peco code 80 flexi in stock and his prices are close to Hattons usually (maybe slightly more but then there's no postage to pay). I'd phone first just to make sure he's got some in and will be open as he sometimes attends local shows, which means closing the shop.
I'd offer to pick some up for you as the shop is reasonably local to me but I'm without a working car and I don't know how I'd transport long bits of flexi track on my motorbike; I'd hate for them to reach you in less than pristine condition.
