Bbc breakfast has article on train spotting in a couple of mins, at 0855.

Seems the first known record of train spotting was by a young girl who collected numbers and names in 1861.   :)    :)    :)

Indeed.
And yet we still can't attract women to our club. Yes my two daughters are members but they don't have a choice cos they're only one!

Good article though, actually showed rail enthusiasm to be an ok hobby.

I thought it was good that they interviewed a young lad as well as an older bloke  :thumbsup:

I also liked the term "Ferrous equinologists"  :D

Quite a good little article!

Any idea where the shot of the CSX Dash-9 is? Looks like Jack London Square or similar, but that would be quite a way from home!
