Hattons are selling the 150/1 sprinter set which usually comes with a Regional Railways 150/1 dmu
At the moment you can also buy the set with three different liveried 150/1s

http://www.ehattons.com/StockDetail.aspx?SID=46971

These DMUs are retailing at 67.00
So at 78.00 for the set a really good starting point for anyone just getting into N Gauge.
I'm not sure but i dont think the 150/1 was ever released in Arriva Trains Livery....

Yes, I can't believe it either. They've cleared off all of the rubbish, and yet it's still a bargain price! :o I suppose they've made some of the money back from the scrap value of those bits. :smiley-laughing:
tank you uncouth youth :P

Shouldn't those "trains" have faces on them so you know which way is forward? DMU - Doesn't know if it is coming or going.

I have been testing a Gafish digital commuter set (with the Bachman EZ Command) and I must say im very impressed. Beautifully funning loco and a brilliant advert for DCC. Top marks (found for approx £135 on Ebay)
sorry for resurecting an old thread :-[
but can someone out there tell me if the class 24 that comes with the digital commuter set comes with a blanking plug to run on DC
i have searched all the model shops in the north west and some further away and cannot find a two tone green class 24 at all
so i thought about getting the set and removing the decoder as far as i know the bachman decoder won't allow use on a DC layout
plus the coaches will come in handy anyway :)
dave
No idea but a six pin blanking plug is a standard part so you can pick them up (or ask a DCC using mate for one)
No, it doesn't - the decoder is already installed, and there's no DC plug in the box. At least, there wasn't in mine.
Dave,
You'll need to change the fitted six pin decoder for the standard six pin blanking plug which is unlikely to be included in the box I'd have thought.
Anyone that has changed locos over to DCC should have one surplus to requirements.
If you get the set and you're stuck,PM me your address and I'll send you one.If you have no use for the fitted decoder perhaps we could come to some arrangement.
