Title: 3 Useful Websites !!!
Post by: Bigric on July 27, 2014, 05:42:44 PM
Just thought people might like to have a look at these 3  , in case they've not seen any of them before.......

This first one is a detailed calendar of upcoming exhibitions & events :
http://www.ukmodelshops.co.uk/events/y2014/m9 (http://www.ukmodelshops.co.uk/events/y2014/m9)

I found this second site ages ago & thought it could be useful , then lost the link & have only just found it again by accident . It's a website all about modelling goods traffic on the railways - not sure how up to date it is , bit of a labour of love by one guy I think , & I seem to remember that its mostly British Railways & pre-nationalisation .

The third one is another one man operation I think , a kind of catalogue of N Gauge Diesel & Electric era locos & rolling stock.....again , not sure how up to date it is !
http://www.ngauge.org.uk/index.htm (http://www.ngauge.org.uk/index.htm)

Right , that's it ! Hope these are of some use !! Cheers , Ric

Is a great site. Definitely worth checking regularly!

Another good find. It's basically a book about railways, in website form!

Very useful if you buy secondhand. Want to know if that Dapol 66 is DCC-friendly? Or whether that's a Bachman-Farish 47 using the early or revised chassis? This is the site for you!

Thanks for sharing.
