Title: Modelling skills Applied in non modelling context
Post by: kirky on July 21, 2014, 09:26:16 AM
This morning mrs Kirky had reason to ask if I might have some enamel paint? Doh!
Of course, I have enamel paint. I'm a modeller.
It transpired she wanted to use my paint to try and touch up some of the childrens' scuffed shoes. Not unlike this one, although not this one;

So I rummaged through said paints and using Phoenix precision paints, I selected dull white and a touch of LMS building cream (probably about 20:1) and came up with the following result;

I'm really pleased with the outcome, and what is more it is mega brownie points!!
Just thought I'd share (just wish I'd photoed the shoes before the paint job)
Cheers
Kirky

Great job, got to be worth letting you buy a couple of locos without you having to smuggle them in.   :)
