I know there are a lot of Floyd afficionados on the forum
Johnnie Walker is doing a Floyd special on his Sunday Radio 2 show 3-5pm 9th October. :music:
Floyd is proper music. Why's it on the same soppy channel as Steve Wright's Sunday Love Songs?

Hmmm - bit of a can of worms there Tadpole, old chap. Personally I cannot stomach commercial radio so that leaves the Beeb. I'm too old for Radio 1, 3 is OK if I'm in the mood for classical stuff and 4 is great for more verbal stuff than music. JW still plays damned good stuff whereas Whispering Bob has gone too country for me. I can't really think of anyone else who is fit to present a programme about Floyd.
And I thought they were on the dark side of the moon. ::)

Ahh so that's why we couldn't see "The Great Gig In The Sky"....... ;D
Sorry I can't be more accurate but it seems to be a Floyd weekend on Radio 2 starting Friday - various programmes scattered throughout the weekend.
Happy listening
