Hi All
I am sure this has been asked before, but as some of you will have seen, I have started madly converting a whole pile of EMU's for the layout I havn't built yet (yes I know!!) :'(
So, I understand most of you use the Tomix Chassis for motorising stock, I believe the 20m varient. What I would like to know is the followingL
- Where is the best place to obtain them?
- What should I expect to pay to obtain one (minus postage, I live in New Zealand...)?
- How easy is it to obtain bogie side frames for them, and from where?
- Are they easily convertable to DCC?
- What is involved in a DCC conversion?
- When the 442 kit comes out from TPM again (which I understand the wheels are now turning for this to happen) which chassis would be suitable for a 23m body vehicle?
Hopefully someone among you chaps is a fountain of the above knowledge :)
Andrew
