Hi Paul,
I have had a quick attempt, is this the type of thing you are after?

yeh sorta, almost john lol
what i need is basically a accurate reacreation of my totem, so when you look on the shirt, you see the same totem as on the layout if you know what i mean...
cheers
paul
So you want it in colour in that case?
Never used them myself, but I wonder if these guys might be able to help:
http://shop.traintees.co.uk/epages/es122290.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/es122290/Products/TOTEM/SubProducts/totem-0001 (http://shop.traintees.co.uk/epages/es122290.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/es122290/Products/TOTEM/SubProducts/totem-0001)
yeh if its possible, and the font i believe is "gills sans" which is the font BR used on these totems.
cheers
paul
I don't know if the colour is the correct shade as that is not one of my good points :-[

cheers John.
that is awesome, think its more a brighter orange lol
i dont know if you have paint, but if you have "paint" on your computer, but if you use the "colour picker" tool on this image below, it will give you the right shade of orange, if not it will do me :)
worth a shot ;)

i couldnt be a pest and ask for it on a black background could i? :-[
just our shirts are black and at the moment it comes up with a white square around it...
did i mention how much of a star you are?
Before I plonk a black background on it here is the orange version, is this too orange?

cheers John.
they are perfect to me!
thanks very much john all very much appreciated!
kind regards
Paul
ok im sick here lol
the first image with the white background is accepted onto the site im using on a white shirt, yet soon as i choose a black shirt it changes the borders and font to black....
the second one with the black background is "too small" appararently...
grr
They are all the same size, all I did was change the colours :confused1:
Do they need more black background as I can make that bigger easily enough.
what they have tried saying is the one with the white background has a transparent background, meaning if you put that image on any colour background the borders/ font and everythign else that isnt orange changes colour...
funny sods these companies arent they!
:sorrysign:
The text and outlines are not white, perhaps that is what they are assuming and they are wrong.
I made the text and outline a light shade of grey
I can make the text and outline a darker shade of grey if you want to try that Paul?
cheers John.
You could do, no harm in trying!
I have changed both the white and black backgrounds.

hm its made no difference....
i dont get it though, i got to the point where i could order the shirt, yet when i went to do a second with a different name underneath it all of a sudden wouldnt let me..
something wrong with their site i think
Is there not a place in the Grainger Market or The Metro Centre that you could get them done?
i checked those places and they all said it would take around a month to do, which is out my deadline.
i finally got the logo to work but they now say its slightly too small
for gods sake :sorrysign:
Just had a look at the T shirt site which Edwin mentioned on page 1 of this thread .....definitely worth a gander , all sorts on there ! Now the tricky bit.....VERY UNPC.COM , (but FUNNY) but for those who are NOT , repeat NOT easily offended , have a look at long sleeve T shirts , 2nd row of 3 (platform related) . If this ends up with me getting a red card from this site , it's been a blast ! SORRY !!! Cheers , Ric
If you want something to have a transparent background, then don't use jpg but use .png as the file.
What the minimum DPI that they'll accept? Or the size. That will help John out a lot.
They didnt really state, the problem they are saying now is the xours etc are fone but because of the font on the top and bottom the picture isnt big enough.
But they said they will sort it and get back to me by the end of the day so we will see what happens
dont you love it when the customer service department all tell you different things?!
sorry to sound a pest but could you possibly make the one with the black background, bigger?apparently its too small and im sick of them trying to sort it out....
p.s. they say the image needs to be 300DPI and 100% of the final print size....
Please don't consider yourself a pest Paul, I am happy to help out ;)
Here is a bigger version for you to submit to the Spanish Inquisition :smiley-laughing: :smiley-laughing: :smiley-laughing:
Please left click on the picture to view and save it full size

dont mention the spanish inquisition! lol
yeh apparently, the original was:-
796x248
and what it needs to be apparently is...
1200x1200 pixels, 300dpi and the final print area is 102mmx102mm apparently :/
i will try this and see what happens
oh *@£$%
now apparently the words "valley" and "railway" are too small and need enlarging, as it wont embroid properly...
awkward sods these arent they?

The black square is 1200 x 1200 pixels but is 300dpi not the pprinter output?
Whether this works out at 102mm x 102mm, your guess is as good as mine
I have made the "Valley and Railroad" 4 points larger, perhaps they can tell you what is the smallest font size they can embroider?
cheers John.
Edit: When I upload the picture to the album section it automatically trims the size of the picture.
I will send you a PM.
