Title: Pin stripes
Post by: jonclox on June 17, 2014, 02:19:26 PM
Any idea of a supplier 1or2 mm coloured self adhesive stripes please.
Halfords etc only do 3mm upwards and I think that will look to heavy

I dint know a supplier but what I tend todo is tick tape to the cutting board.  Paint it and then slice it to size with a straight edge and scalpel.  Peal the strips off the board and there you have it...  Aero modelling seat belts but it's the sae principle...

Jammydog does 1.5mm coloured stripes: http://www.jammydog.com/ (http://www.jammydog.com/) They also do some very fine masking tape too.

Hope this helps.

A company called "Trimline" supplies self adhesive tape in various widths (starting at 0.5 mm ). A lot of modellers use it to line loco's in larger scales.
Hope this helps!
