Title: Slow boat to China
Post by: Alex on September 30, 2011, 06:28:51 PM
Hi,

Today (30th September) I received a BM gondola through the post. No surprise there then. Except it was posted out to me from England on 25th July. Must have got stopped at border control :smiley-laughing:

Hi Alex,

It was probably that road bridge that caused the problem, you know what they are like for closing it if some breaks wind in Rosyth  :smiley-laughing:

Sounds to me like it may have been full of contraband or worse and stopped by the Scottish Customs ;D

Scottish Customs? You mean like tossing the caber or eating deep fried Mars bars?  ;D

Yes, it certainly is a bit on the bright side. 8)  It's smaller than my other gondolas so It won't be joining my Wemyss fleet. It'll get a weathering and the addition of a load of some sort.
