Are there any lists showing the manufacturers numbers for coaches and the BR number on the coach particularly for Graham Farish/Bachmann?
The Graham Farish past products section on the Bachmann website gives
the model number and the BR number. Hope this helps.

Note that this does not give the numbers for coaches released in 2014 (notably the new variant blood and custard Mark 1s and Pullmans)...

I know some people are going to hate me for this but............
The coach numbers are very small and very difficult to read so... does it really matter what the numbers are?? Especially when a train is going around the track - who is going to notice? I know that YOU know that they are not right but......?
Some of the rakes of coaches I have, have a couple of coaches with the same number. No one has noticed yet!!
I'm sure there must be other more important details missing from Farish/Dapol coaches that nobody mentions.

I could ask the question of those who insist on having all the bits and bobs under the chassis and behind the truss rods in situ - no-one's going to see it, why bother?
As a BR(SR) modeller, I've taken the time to get the correct vehicles together to make representative sets for my passenger trains. I've done the research into them and it is not in my makeup to just apply the set numbers to the ends of the set and not get the rest of the detail (the coach numbers) correct also. I know they can't be seen clearly from normal viewing distances but as you say
I know they are there and correct and that has satisfied my modelling aims.
There may be things wrong with the Farish coaches, the excessive ribbing on the Mark 1 roofs being a particular sore point and the steps on the ends, but these things are not the sort of thing I can apply fixes to without risking irreparably damaging some expensive purchases and I have taken the decision to live with them...
No offence intended.. I know there are many people who like to research these things and get their stock as accurately portrayed as possible.
It just seems to me to be a bit of a theoretical exercise for such a small scale. Still whatever turns us on to such a magical hobby has to be good.

The 'why do you bother doing this but not that' argument will still be there when the end of civilisation happens. :)
Things like coach numbers will show up in the "cruel closeup" photograph even if not visible to the naked eye.
