Title: The World cup and ebay
Post by: trkilliman on June 12, 2014, 12:01:37 PM
I have several N gauge items to move on via ebay, but am wondering whether it's best to wait until the World cup has run it's course thus maximising viewers to my auctions. I cannot remember 4 years back if ebay listings were affected, can anyone  else recall?

Why not list them here on the N'Porium ?

Might as well, especially if you were considering waiting till the football was over  ;)

Nothing ventured, nothing gained

cheers John.

I think those watching the world cup wont be bothering with model trains :D

I'll certainly be watching it, the trains will still be there when it is over

Even England will manage 3 matches - its the number of games played by each team in the group stage.

You can keep the footie. I've had a great sporting month already - TT races and the Hockey World Cup.

Consider the hockey to be far more exciting (biased opinion as I still play) and we have had some tremendously skillful goals scored. Good news is GB Men have reached the semi-finals and play Holland. Oz play Argentina in the other. GB girls unfortunately had a lousy tournament and finished with only one win.

This World Cup I also have the advantage of being able to support my adopted Aussie "home" side. the Men being favorites to win the competition and the Aussie girls should also make the finals. Could be double bubble for the Australian Nation.

At least listing them on here gets you a 100% targeted audience!
Good luck whatever you choose to do.
As for the footie... trains are miles more interesting...
Cheers
