Title: Nem coupling sockets....
Post by: fisherman on June 08, 2014, 04:26:19 PM
I  wonder   what is   the   cheapest   wagon  fitted with  NEM  pockets???

I know I  can  buy  a  'conversion'  kit but I would like   a   ready  fitted one   for  testing....

Depends on where you get it from but using Hattons as an example, you can get a 373-260B cattle wagon for £7.78, a 'Plasmor' OBA wagon 373-627C (or EWS 373-628C) wagon for £6, a POA wagon 373-979A for £7, an LMS brake van 377-311 in bauxite for £6 or a 377-927 PCA wagon for £8.
If you don't like any of these NEM equipped wagons and find something else that you're not sure about NEM-wise, ask away!
