Title: Brio - Big Red Action Locomotive - Help
Post by: Geriatrix on May 11, 2014, 11:07:20 AM
Most definitely not N gauge, but. We (my grandson and I) have been given a battery powered Brio loco to use on his (our) extensive wooden track system. But it doesn't work. I've changed the batteries, checked the terminals aren't corroded, opened the baseplate to check for fluff and grunge, but the damm thing is completely dead. No lights no sound, no power, nothing. But, I haven't actually found an obvious on/off switch, just pushed all the yellow buttons on top at random. Does anyone know if there is a master switch somewhere - many thanks.

Yep, you're probably right! Thanks for that, I can see what we're missing. Time was, they were just wooden blocks with wheels! Oh well, another push along ......
