Title: DG couplings
Post by: carpy on April 12, 2014, 10:40:08 AM
help please have successfully converted  08 &04  diesels &47 &66 etc also short wagons  but I am foxed with dapol spine wagons NB062E  going round even 12 inch curves derails  either the large diesel or the spine wagon  If I put extra weight on wagon still happens    problem is not much sideways movement in couplings  and the long overhang on spinewagon from the swivelling point of its bogie  so it swings out wide on all curves    any ideas?

You will have to mount the coupling off the bogie. I am currently working on this for mine so I will let you know. It will probably be using the waste etched Brass from the coupling fret or as a 3d printed part.
