Title: F1 Streaming
Post by: Mr Sprue on April 05, 2014, 09:30:19 PM
Anyone have a good site they can recommend for streaming the Bahrain F1 live? Greedy Mr Murdoch has of course once again thrown his money wrench into our pre paid TV licenced Beeb!

Aw well, I guess I'll have to watch it on my motorised sat system then, RTL will be showing it FTA live in HD, the only downside it will have German commentary!  ::)

Hense why I was hoping someone here could recommend a good streaming site.

I  don't suppose you know which RTL channel it'll be on do you??

I'm in Germany at the moment, but as I don't speak German I can 't work out which channel it will be on, and before any bright spark comes up with " look for F1" I did think of that, but the tv we have doesn't have a programme listings facility.

Regards

Neal.

I watch it on Spanish TV (Antenna 3) and using a VPN listen to the 5 live commentary.   ;)

Sorry for the late reply Neal, it was on RTL Astra 19.2 E

For future reference use this site, its the best out there. When you hover over the list of broadcasters a box will appear with the sats and their frequencies.  http://liveonsat.com/LJS_other_motor.php (http://liveonsat.com/LJS_other_motor.php)

All the best

For under the cost of an N tender loco treat yourself to a dish and a cheap receiver. Point it at 19.2, watch RTL, albeit in SD, and listen to the commentary on Radio 5.
OK, there's adverts - but near the beginning and end they keep a small window of the race coverage on screen, and there's a always a counter of the number of seconds to the end of the ads.
The Beeb commentary matches the pictures, and the digital delay puts sound and vision pretty much in sync.

Just go to the reddit thread for the session when it is on and do ctrl-f with the word "stream". You can do the same for football.
