Anyone know of good quality mailbags?
I have some of the P&D Marsh ones though I'm not really happy with them. Is there anything a little more realistic ? I realise, of course, that they are very tiny !!
Have you tried HMP Exeter, they make authentic ones? Oh no, they've stopped making them.
Sorry Martin, I couldn't resist it,..... I'll fetch my coat..
Thanks for that helpful comment Jack
I'd be mighty impressed that the inmates of HMP could stitch mailbags that small :) :) :)

Best regards,
Joe

Sounds like you may have some dodgy "friends" !!
Definitely no dodgy friends!, maybe the odd dodgy in-law, or should that be out-law now. ;D
Not quite sure what you need, nor for what era, but there are a number of manufacturers coming up on a Google search. Harburn Hamlet have a stack of sacks and there's a seller on ebay called model scenery who has sacks.
If all else fails you could try modelling them in Milliput.

Makes two of us then >:D

Have a go at making some yourself from Fimo or Milliput. £3 will buy you plenty of either and allow you to make 100s more than you'd get from the same price of ready made bags.
Happy modelling.
