Title: Marks models
Post by: mark37/4 on March 03, 2014, 08:51:52 PM
So along with modeling N gauge I also make models in 1:76 & 1:72 I have recently been making dioramas for the models as a result of making a battle damaged 109 & the RAF emergency set

I mainly model in 1:72/76 scale but have made the od model in 1:48 & 1:32 scale

Here is a few pics of my dioramas

The first is the Airfix RAF emergency set with Austin K2 fire engine & K7 ambulance & a Airfix Messerschmicht Bf109E-3 with battle damage, built on a A4 size piece of plywood witha section of foamboard glued & carved for a shallow mound

The second is the Airfix German Recon set with KFZ 222 & Kublewagen on a piece of scrap plywood with some sand paper glued on for the desert (I have sinced removed the 'paving slabs' from the three troops & glued them down)

Anyone who can make and paint military models won't have any problem with N gauge, I'm looking forward to seeing your layout.
